Prairie
Scenes
|
 |
Born and raised in small town Saskatchewan, it would seem
fitting that the subjects for some of his paintings would
be from his childhood environment.
The rich character of prairie landscape has a magnetic attraction
to the artist's eye. The wheatfields, pastures and abandoned
country buildings stand as a testimonial to early pioneeers

the desire to express oneself through fine art was always
present. In the beginning to fulfill this need, the graphite
pencil became the medium of choice. Most artists use the
pencil only as a prelimenary means to an end but he has
explored it as a serious medium in itself. |
